Crew change
Title:  Crew change
Description:  At the NS yard in Shenandoah, 9949 is pulling out with a fresh crew on board while the yard master is inspecting the air connections as each car passes him by. #7621 was tied down for the moment but as the last car cleared the yard master hopped on board and fired her up to ready her for the next crew.

Retired to park duty
Title:  Retired to park duty
Description:  As a child nothing could beat hearing the sound of an approaching train off in the distance then to watch each car pass me by and the icing on the cake, the caboose. Unfortunately, with the very limited use of cabooses in todays time, all my little one and her generation will ever reminisce of the caboose is the pictures they see and time spent trying to climb on them while on display on town property such as this. Much to my surprise the inside is in just as good shape as the outside now only visible through the windows as it is closed to the public. Little info is known about this caboose it is lettered N&W 518391 but a goggled search has yielded info that it possibly was once NPR #780 crafted at the Ironville, Ohio shops.
